Edsel & Elanor Ford house

1920s

Edsel and Eleanor Ford commissioned Detroit architect Albert Kahn to design their new house at Grosse Point Shores, Michigan. Both Edsel, and his father Henry Ford, were no strangers to England, and this may explain how they came to learn about the dismantling of Wollaston Hall in late 1926.
