The Barley Mow
1850s
The original Barley Mow, pictured here, probably dates from earlier than 1850 when it was named in Kelly’s Directory. It is shown on the 1827 Oldswinford Parish map. It stands on the corner of Vicarage Road and the High Street. The building was demolished in the 20th century and replaced with a modern building.

A far more handsome building than the current one.
