The Langstone family

1910s

The Langstone family had a shop in High Street, next to the Britannia Inn in about 1912.  They ran a small haulage business from a yard behind the house and to the side of the public house.

Was this property immediately next to the Brit-now part of the car park- or 1 of the 2 houses still standing between the Brit and Firmstone St? I am interested in any information anyone might have on what is now 69 High St. which is right on the corner of High St. and Firmstone ST-especially when it was built, its use and any former occupants.
