WRovers & Senior Scouts
Apley Park was the home of William Orme Foster from1867until his death in 1899. His son William lived there and later his grandson Arthur until his death in 1960. It overlooks the River Severn just north of Bridgnorth and it was here that this photograph was taken. In June 1950 the older scouts and rovers took part in ‘Operation Severn’ and the members here were:- Front Row:- Chris Chance, Bob Bedhall, Dennis Underwood, Don Littley, Les Thomas, Fred Robbins and Geoff Taylor: Back Row:- Michael Clark, Derek Sidaway, Jeff Boaler, Chris Layland, John Underwood and Neville Jackson.
