A very early picture of the School & Church.

1890s

This is one of the earliest photographs of the schools and church.  It was originally black and white but had been coloured in at a later date.  The dress of the lady in the foreground suggests Victorian and was possibly late 19th century.

It is interesting that this been coloured incorrectly since the bricks were Staffordshire Blue.
