Frederick Bernard Honey, born 1922, was the son of a Worcestershire clergyman.  He was educated at Selwyn College, Cambridge and studied for the priesthood at Wells Theological College.  He came to Wollaston in 1955 together with his wife and two children.  He served as chairman of the Managers of the schools and was vice-chairman of the High Park School managers.  He supervised the sale of the glebe land next to the Vicarage and was involved in the demolition of the old vicarage and the building of the new one.  He was appointed an honorary Canon of Worcester Cathedral in 1975 and retired to live in Bourton on the Water in 1987.
