Coloured postcard of the KLR in Wollaston

1900s

A coloured postcard view of Wollaston Junction from c.1903. The colourist has done a generally good job on the trams and buildings, but clearly painted out the overhead wires and then attempted to draw them back in by hand – without any understanding of how they worked. Few of the lines connect up and the trolley pole on KLR car – No.51, left – is actually not in contact with anything at all!
