KLR car on trial in Sedgley

1900s

Three special open-sided toastrack tramcars were ordered for the KLR, but they arrived before it opened and had to be tested elsewhere on the Black Country System. So, here, one chilly winter’s day early in 1901, one of the Kinver cars - No.1 - is seen running through the Bull Ring in Sedgley, past the Red Lion - must have been very chilly and what was that boy shouting?
