Leonard Road Lights

2000s

From modest beginnings in 1974 the Leonard Road Christmas Lights have become a major event that takes all year to plan. In 1999 the organisers also began to collect for the West Midlands Air Ambulance, and in just four years they raised £155,000!

Have the Leonard Road lights stopped completely now? I live in Sedgley and I have only seen them once. I remember when they were on Midlands Today or Central News.
