Rev Michael Willows

2000s

This photograph of Michael Willows was taken on the steps of the church.  He came to Wollaston from Hallow where he had been Vicar since 1981.  His wife, Muriel, was a Stourbridge girl so they both knew the area before coming to Wollaston.  Among the changes that he made was an invitation to hold the P.C.C. meetings at the Vicarage which proved more comfortable than the previous venue, which had been in either the school or the vestry.
Michael retired to live in Stourton in 2005 and since then the parish has been run by the Parochial Church Council and the churchwardens.
