The Church Choir were photographed in September 1945.

This photograph was taken after a special service in September 1945. The occasion was when the curate, Romilly Craze, left the parish to join the R.A.F. as a padre. He had looked after the parish during the years when the Vicar, Reg Bamber, was a P.O.W. The photograph includes Romilly’s father and another curate, Wilfred Reynolds, who was an old boy of the schools.

There were 19 members of the choir who had been pupils at the schools and four of the men had children who were pupils there.
