A book mark presented to all pupils in 1980.

In 1980 Worcester Diocese celebrated the Cathedral’s 13th Centenary.  The school had also reached its 121st Anniversary and to celebrate both events the Junior School’s Headmaster, Jack Porter, with help from PTA and church members, organised a supper.  The school hall was decorated with banners made by the pupils.  In the Junior School Log-book Jack wrote: “13th Centenary Celebration Supper; 158 sat down for a wonderful meal arranged by the PTA and church.  Guest speakers were the Bishop of Dudley and the Director of Education for Dudley L.E.A.  These were followed by a musical concert.  An excellent occasion enjoyed by all.”
All the pupils were given a book mark to remind them of this special date.  It included the school badge and dates of the school as well as the dates of the foundation of Worcester Cathedral.
