A plaque in the school hall recording the official opening

1980s

Although the Junior School closed in 1984 two year groups remained in the old building until the new classrooms built at the old infants’ school site were completed.  The younger children stayed in the Meadow Park building and in February 1985 all the pupils were at the new St James’s Primary School.  This plaque records the official opening on 25th June 1985.
