Novelty Glassworks’ glass

Much remains to be learned about the products of the Novelty Glassworks in Gladstone Road, but some of its output is known, and examples are held in local collections, including that at Broadfield House in Kingswinford. This vase was intact until the person donating it to the museum dropped it in the car park on her way into the building! Gilded red glass seemed to be a Novelty Glassworks speciality.
