Rev Frederic Ingram Cox, Vicar of Wollaston

1950s

Frederic Ingram Cox came to Wollaston after serving in Birmingham, Knowle in Warwickshire and the Isle of Man.  His induction in Wollaston was on 24th June 1948.  He was Rural Dean of Swinford in 1951 but left Wollaston in 1955 to move to Earl’s Croome and later other rural parishes in Worcestershire.  On his retirement he went to live in Malvern. 
He was born in Derbyshire in 1911 and Ingram was his mother’s maiden name.  This photograph has been taken from a photograph of the staff at the Junior School.
