The coat of arms of the Liddeat family.

1600s

The Liddeat family have a variety of spellings of their surname.  George, a London merchant bought the Manor of Wollaston and 50 acres of land in 1592 and there was a John still living there when the Foley family bought the Hall and surrounding land in 1672.  This coat of arms is taken from the Victoria County History for Worcestershire.
